Home Expressions Fee Structure

In-Home Interior Design Consultation/Presentation Fee - $125

This fee for non- construction based services includes:

  • Step One (Consultation)
    Up to one hour of a designers' time in your home to assess your design needs, style and budget.
  • Step Two (Research)
    The Designer will utilize Home Expressions Interiors varied resources to do research relating to your specific design needs such as furniture, accessory and fabric selections, custom bedding and window treatment design and space planning.
  • Step Three (Presentation)
    Interior Designer will make a presentation in the Home Expression's Interiors Design Studio. Based on your unique design requirements and budget; the presentation will be a comprehensive indication of what can be accomplished for your home through the services of Home Expressions Interiors by Laura Bloom Inc.. All ideas and drawings will remain the property of Home Expressions until a purchase of $3500 is made. If no purchase is made at the time of the presentation but a client elects to continue Design Services of any kind a non-refundable $3500 retainer will be taken and applied to future purchases.

Fees are as follows:

  • Laura Bloom (Owner / Interior Designer) - $125/hr
  • Associate Designer - $65/hr
  • Design Professional - $55/hr

Construction & Project Management Fees

Priced according to project size and scope. This will be assessed and determined after bids are received and before initiating the contract.

Kitchen/ Bathroom/ Basement Remodeling and Design/Build

A Schematic Presentation will be made based on the above Design Process and basic $125 consultation fee. All ideas and drawings are the property of Home Expressions Interiors. To receive copies of drawings and to move forward with Design Development, Contract and Construction Phases, a Letter of Intent will be signed and a non-refundable $3500 retainer is required. The fee for Construction and Construction Management Services will be assessed accordingly once the final size and scope of a project has been determined and finish selections made. Waiting until all bids are received is done in effort to protect our clients and avoid unnecessary Change Orders.

Additional Services

For as flat fee of $3500 Home Expressions Interiors will provide you with Specification of Finishes and Schematic Drawings for your remodeling project to be done by others OR meet with you and your builder to select finishes in their Design Center. Please note that if you opt to have your project completed by others; Home Expressions Interiors by Laura Bloom Inc. bears no responsibly to the quality or success of that project.
