Client was ready to completely renovate their 11 year old home to be more consistent with other high end homes in the area. Home Expressions Interiors by Laura Bloom Inc. was hired to assess, design and manage the entire project. The kitchen and basement were completely gutted and redesigned to better suit the family’s lifestyle and current tastes. The outdated color scheme was replaced with a soothing and rich one consisting primarily of greens, gold and paprika. This scheme was broken away from in the Master Bedroom with the use of greens, gold and eggplant. New paint, iron railings, flooring, furniture, custom window treatments and bedding and accessories were incorporated throughout. Many textural and organic finishes were used such as slate, stone, and rough hewn wood. Custom cabinetry and bar area were added to the terrace level and existing cabinets in the Great Room, Library and Master Bath were fauxed to achieve an entirely different look. The terrace level now discreetly reflects the family’s love for hunting and the outdoors as well as their Texas heritage.
